His research interests lie in macroeconomics and labor economics, focusing on life-cycle modeling, skills accumulation, and the adaptation of workers to labor market disruptions.
Daniil’s current research integrates adaptation theory from biology, ecology, and economics to analyze and predict workers’ adaptation to automation, AI introduction, and climate change. During his PhD, Daniil spent three semesters at Yale University. He will join Universidad Carlos III in Madrid as a Postdoctoral Researcher this academic year.
